The Indian rupee opened marginally higher against the US dollar on Monday amid a steady greenback. The local currency opened 3 paise higher at 82.14 a dollar as compared to the previous close of 82.17.
Today the stock market opened with a boom. Today, the BSE Sensex opened at a level of 66087.15 points with a gain of about 26.25 points. On the other hand, the NSE's Nifty opened at a level of 19584.60 points with a gain of 20.10 points.
