The low pressure area weakened to a cyclonic circulation over the Gulf of Mannar.
A Western Disturbance is over Ladakh, another Western Disturbance can be seen over eastern parts of Afghanistan, it can reach over Jammu and Kashmir on the night of 8 March.
The Induced Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Western parts of Rajasthan.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, isolated light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls occurred over the coastal parts of Tamil Nadu.
Light to moderate rain occurred in South Kerala.
Light rain occurred over interior Tamil Nadu and south coast of Andhra Pradesh.
Light rain and snowfall occurred in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Threat weather activity during 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, isolated light rain and snow may occur over upper parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Isolated light rain is possible over Southwest Madhya Pradesh, adjoining parts of North Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
After 24 hours, scattered rain activities are possible over eastern parts of Rajasthan and isolated parts of East Gujarat.
