Rupee opened strongly against the dollar in the foreign exchange market today. Today the rupee opened with a strength of 20 paise at Rs 75.31 against the dollar. At the same time, on Tuesday, the rupee closed at Rs 75.51 with a weakness of 16 paise against the dollar.

Today the BSE Sensex rose by about 211.06 points to open at the level of 60495.37 points. On the other hand, the Nifty of NSE opened with a gain of 81.40 points at the level of 18073.40 points. This is the all time high level of Sensex and Nifty. Today, trading started in a total of 1,617 companies in the BSE, out of which 1,173 shares opened up and 363 fell.
