Cotton production in Gujarat drops from 1.18 crores  bales in 2017-18 to 90 lakh bales in 2020-21.Cotton sowing area decreased from 26.42 lakh hectare in 2017-18 to 22.50 lakh hectare in 2021-22.Gujarat Trade Association secretary Mr. Ajay Dalal says we expect an increase in sowing the crop for next year.Due to the lower demand in spinning mills cotton rate drops slightly in Maharashtra.
