The Deep Low Pressure Area over central parts of South Rajasthan now lies over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas, with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. Leaning towards South with altitude.
The Monsoon Trough is passing from a Deep Low Pressure Center over Southwest Rajasthan, Kota, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ambikapur, Jamshedpur, Diamond Harbor and then into North Bay of Bengal in a southeasterly direction.
The cyclonic circulation over the northern part of the Bay of Bengal extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.
The Western Disturbance is seen as a trough in the central troposphere over North Afghanistan and adjoining parts of Pakistan.
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls occurred over Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, North Coast of Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells occurred over West Rajasthan, Lakshadweep and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Light to moderate rain occurred over West Bengal, remaining parts of Jharkhand, North Gujarat, East and Southeast Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan and Goa, remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
Light rain was recorded over Northeast India, Chhattisgarh, Interior Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Interior Tamil Nadu.
Light rain occurred at one or two places over Interior Karnataka and Punjab.
During the next 24 hours, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh, Northeast Madhya Pradesh, Southeast Uttar Pradesh, parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh And in Uttarakhand, light to moderate rain with heavy rain may occur at some places.
Light to moderate rain is possible over Northeast India, Sikkim, remaining parts of Odisha, remaining parts of East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar and West Rajasthan.
Light rain is possible over remaining parts of West Bengal, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana.
