The Indian rupee opened 10 paise higher against the US dollar on Wednesday helped by broader weakness in the greenback ahead of the crucial US inflation data. The local currency opened at 82.27 a dollar as compared to the previous close of 82.57.
Today the stock market opened with a boom. Today, the BSE Sensex opened at a level of 65726.19 points with a gain of about 108.35 points. On the other hand, the NSE's Nifty opened at a level of 19469.80 points with a gain of 30.40 points.
