A Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas which is moving eastwards.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Jharkhand and adjoining parts of North Odisha.
A trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and Odisha up to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Another trough is extending from South Gujarat Coast to Kerala Coast.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places over Odisha, East Rajasthan, Coastal Karnataka, parts of Konkan and Goa and over Manipur and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain occurred over parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Rayalaseema, Interior Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Light rain was observed at one or two places over Interior Karnataka and Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
Northwesterly dry winds have started over parts of Northwest India and Central India, increasing the temperature.
Weather activity likely during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at isolated places is likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka, parts of Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is possible over Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Interior Maharashtra, South Chhattisgarh and Odisha. ,
Light to moderate rain may occur over rest of Northeast India, Interior Odisha, Kerala, Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Telangana and Lakshadweep.
Light rain is possible at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, North Chhattisgarh, South and East Gujarat, parts of Southwest and East Madhya Pradesh and Western Himalayas.
The weather of Northwest India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, most parts of West and Central Uttar Pradesh, northern parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will remain dry for at least the next 2 to 3 days.
The maximum temperatures are likely to rise further over parts of Northwest and Central India.
