The Indian rupee opened flat against the US dollar on Monday amid weakness in Asian currencies. The local unit opened at 82.44 per dollar, higher by 2 paise compared to Friday's closing price of 82.46.
Sensex opened up 158.02 points
In early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 158.02 points to 62,783.65 points.
