On September 16, the Indian rupee opened at 95.89 against the dollar up 7 paise, after closing at 95.96 on Tuesday.
The BSE Sensex opened at 74,249.31 and was at 74,208.83 at 9:36 am, up 205.01 points or 0.28% from the previous close. The Nifty 50 opened at 23,201.60 and was at 23,188.10, up 69.50 points or 0.30%.
