On Friday the Indian Rupee higher by 02 paise to close at 94.32 against the US dollar, after opening at 94.34 in morning trade.
At close, the Sensex was down 607.08 points, or 0.78 percent, at 76,802.90, while the Nifty fell 154.90 points, or 0.64 percent, to 24,013.10. Market breadth improved notably, with 2,137 stocks advancing against 1,905 declines.
