The rupee opened at 95.75 against the US dollar and depreciated by 10 paise to settle at 95.85 at the close of trade.
At close, the Sensex was down 69.86 points or 0.09 percent at 76,765.92, and the Nifty was down 10.60 points or 0.04 percent at 23,985.35. About 1539 shares advanced, 2543 shares declined, and 155 shares unchanged.
