The Indian rupee on Wednsesday lower 05 paise to close at 90.30 per dollar, while it opened at 90.25 in the morning.
At close, the Sensex was down 244.98 points or 0.29 percent at 83,382.71, and the Nifty was down 66.70 points or 0.26 percent at 25,665.60. About 1887 shares advanced, 1918 shares declined, and 150 shares unchanged.
