A Western Disturbance is persisting over Ladakh and adjoining areas, which is gradually moving in an easterly direction.
The Induced Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Southern parts of Rajasthan.
A low pressure line is extending from Kerala to North Madhya Maharashtra via Interior Karnataka.
A Cyclonic Circulation lies over South-central Bay of Bengal.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain has occurred over East and Southeast Rajasthan, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light rain occurred over parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada, southwest Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Maharashtra.
Maximum temperatures were 4-6 degrees above normal at one or two places in Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Konkan and Goa.
Threat weather activity during 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is likely over southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light rain is very likely over some parts of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and one or two parts of Madhya Maharashtra.
Strong gusty winds from north-westerly direction are very likely over the Gangetic plains of India during the next 48 hours.
