Today evening, the rupee depreciated by 5 paise to close at Rs 75.34 against the dollar.
Sensex rises, closes up by 389 points
Today, where the Sensex gained about 388.76 points, closed at the level of 56247.28 points. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 16787.70 with a gain of 129.30 points. Apart from this, a total of 3,592 companies were trading on the BSE today, out of which about 2,125 shares closed up and 1,314 shares closed down.
