During the last 24 hours, Kerala has received light to moderate rain.
Rest of the country witnessed dry weather.
Heat wave conditions were observed over many parts of West and South Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh.
Heat wave is prevailing in one or two areas of Konkan.
Weather activity likely during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala may receive light rain with light rain at one or two places.
Heat wave conditions are possible over West and South parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Coastal Maharashtra.
On March 18, the intensity of rain is likely to increase over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
