A Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas.
Another circulation is seen over West Central Bay of Bengal off North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coast.
A trough is extending from Chhattisgarh to South Interior Karnataka across Telangana and Marathwada.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls occurred over parts of Karnataka and Kerala
Light to moderate rain occurred over Interior Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and rest of Northeast India, Lakshadweep and South Chhattisgarh.
Heat wave conditions prevail in isolated parts of Northwest Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh
Heat wave conditions were observed over parts of Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.
Probable weather activity during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is very likely at isolated places over Northeast India, interior parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Light to moderate rain is possible over Western Himalayas.
On April 21 and 22, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and light rain with isolated thunderstorms over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, eastern parts of Jharkhand and Bihar as well as parts of West Bengal.
Pre-Monsoon thunderstorms are also very likely to occur over Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and southern parts of Andhra Pradesh.
In view of the pre-monsoon activities in many parts of the country, the temperature may moderate to some extent
During the next 24 hours, heatwave conditions are possible at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Jharkhand and it may decrease thereafter.
