A trough is extending from Gulf of Mannar to Southwest Bay. A Cyclonic Circulation is also persisting over East Bangladesh.

During the last 24 hours, interior parts of Tamil Nadu witnessed moderate to heavy rains and Kerala witnessed light to moderate rains.
Dense fog was observed over parts of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and moderate fog over North Madhya Pradesh and Northeast India.

During the next 24 hours, scattered rain and snow are very likely at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.
Light to moderate rain with isolated rain is likely over parts of Tamil Nadu.
Scattered rain very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura
There is a possibility of increase or slight increase in minimum temperatures over Northwest India.
During the next 24 hours, the minimum temperature of East India is likely to drop by 2 to 3 degrees.
