In the lower levels, a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over the Comorin region.
Another cyclonic circulation lies over East-central Arabian Sea off Maharashtra coast.

The minimum temperature has dropped by 3 to 4 degrees in the northwest and central parts of the country.
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places over South Assam, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Light to moderate rain and snow occurred in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Light rain occurred at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, parts of Kerala, Northwest Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.
*Weather activity likely during next 24 hours*
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is likely over parts of Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, South Assam, Sikkim and Tamil Nadu.
Light rain is possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Light rain and snow is possible over Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and parts of Jammu and Kashmir on December 8.
The minimum temperatures are likely to drop further over Northwest India, parts of Central India and Gujarat.
