Golden is the future of the textile industry

Golden is the future of the textile industry Discussion with Kiran Bhandari, owner of Aurangabad's ginning factoryAccording to one information, the garment industry is such an industry that directly and indirectly provides employment to 27 percent of the population in the country. It is clear from this that the future of this industry is very bright. Farmers from all over the country have been attracted towards cotton cultivation this year due to the price of cotton that the farmers got last year. Talking about Aurangabad itself, this time around 25 percent cotton sleeping has increased here. Some ginners have also made good profits, although the profit making ginners remain only 10 to 15 per cent as most of the giners are unable to stock the goods due to rising prices. This information was given by Jinar Kiran Bhandari of Osmanpura, Aurangabad.Due to low demand, the price decreasedIn a special conversation with SIS, Kiranji told that there are many farmers in our area who are doing cotton cultivation this time except soybean and sugarcane. Farmers are confident that this year also they will get good profits from cotton. However, looking at the current scenario, it is being estimated that this time the price of cotton in our area should remain around Rs 7500 or so. A major reason for the fall in prices is the fall in consumption and demand.Proper chain system between seller and buyerBeing a Xiner, he told that the biggest problem for the Xiner is the lack of a proper business channel between the buyer and the seller. Gener, whether small or big, takes the help of a broker to sell his goods. In such a situation, when the price of cotton bales is high, then all the goods are sold, but when the prices are low, the mills return the goods many times. In such a situation, a Xiner has to bear a big loss and in this whole process he is dependent only on the broker.Industry will benefit ifGovernment should cancel RCM.There should be a proper channel between buyer and seller.Labor cost should be a little cheaper.

The area of cotton has increased, but for good yield, it is necessary to get the right amount of water.

The area of cotton increased, but for good yield, it is necessary to get the right amount of water.Exclusive conversation with Vishal Ojha, a cotton broker from Hanumangarh, RajasthanAttracted by the rising prices of cotton, this time the farmers have increased the area under cotton cultivation, but for its good yield in Rajasthan, it is necessary to get the right amount of water to the crop. If Punjab continues to provide water through the canal system, then there is a possibility of a good crop to a great extent. Along with this, the yield of the crop also depends on good rains. The cotton cropping cycle in Upper Rajasthan is 160 days. During this, if there is a total of 7 to 8 good rains, then the crop is very good. This information related to Upper Rajasthan was given by Vishal Ojha, a cotton broker of Hanumangarh. In a special conversation with SIS, he told about many things related to cotton in his area. He told that when I started the work in 1994, there used to be thousands of cotton pressings, but now in Hanumangarh, lakhs of pressings have started. It is clear from this that the demand in this industry is increasing continuously with time and along with this, this industry is also growing in Rajasthan.Talking about the textile industry, Hanumangarh currently has 18 to 20 factories and 2 to 3 new factories are yet to start. The policy of the government in Rajasthan is such that if one cotton factory is set up, then a subsidy of 5 to 6 crores is available. This is the reason that after the ban on commission, gradually the workers of commissions have also started setting up factories. He said that in Hanumangarh and Ganganagar new crop usually starts coming from the second week of September. Our area receives maximum 3.50 lakh crops, but last year due to lack of water first, then due to unseasonal rains and some diseases, the crop suffered a lot. Due to which the crop last year was only 2.59 lakhs. This time farmers have shown great interest in cotton cultivation. Paddy farmers have also planted cotton on 5 to 10 bighas of land. That is why it is expected that in the new season the crop will also come between 3 to 3.15 lakhs. As far as the price is concerned, this season Narma has been sold here for Rs 14 thousand. It is being estimated that the prices of Narma will remain up to Rs 11,000 when the new crop arrives.
