Indian Rupee lower 19 Paisa, Ends at 87.50 per Dollar
The Indian rupee on friday fell 19 paise to close at 87.50 per dollar, while it had opened at 87.31 in the morning.
Indian equity indices closed sharply lower, with all sectoral indices trading in the red throughout the session. The Sensex ended the day down 1.90% at 73,198.10, while the Nifty also slipped 1.86% to close at 22,124.70, marking a weak finish for the last trading session of February.
