This evening, the rupee ended the day 2 paise down versus the US dollar at 84.40
The BSE benchmark Sensex closed 110.64 points or 0.14 per cent lower at 77580.31. The Nifty 50 index closed 26.35 points or 0.11 per cent lower at 23,532.70.
