The rupee closed 13 paisa higher against the dollar at 91.80

On Tuesday the Indian rupee opened at 91.93 against the dollar and closed 13 paisa higher at 91.80.
At close, the Sensex was up 639.82 points or 0.82 percent at 78,205.98, and the Nifty was up 233.55 points or 0.97 percent at 24,261.60. About 2998 shares advanced, 1111 shares declined, and 125 shares unchanged.
