The rupee had closed at 95.82 on Wednesday, whereas today it opened at 95.95 per dollar, a decline of 13 paise.
The Sensex was at 72,304.37, down 175.92 points or 0.24% at 9:27 am, after opening at 72,192.89. The Nifty 50 was at 22,535.90, down 84.55 points or 0.37%, after opening at 22,543.70.
