The Indian rupee weakened by 04 paise against the US dollar on Friday, closing at ₹95.75 per dollar.
The domestic currency opened at ₹95.66 against the US dollar and remained volatile during the trading session. It eventually settled at ₹95.75, down 04 paise from its previous close.
At close, the Sensex was up 3.11 points or 0.00 percent at 77,540.83, and the Nifty was up 20.15 points or 0.08 percent at 24,252.00.
