The rupee slipped 10 paise to settle at 95.68 against the US dollar.
On Thursday, the Indian rupee opened at 95.58 against the US dollar and closed at 95.68, recording a decline of 10 paise during the trading session.
At close, the Sensex was up 273.55 points or 0.35 percent at 77,928.15, and the Nifty was up 66.95 points or 0.28 percent at 24,317.15. About 1620 shares advanced, 2408 shares declined, and 188 shares unchanged.
