The rupee strengthened by 25 paise against the dollar to open at 95.14.
The Indian rupee strengthened by 25 paise against the US dollar, opening at 95.14 on Monday, compared to its previous close of 95.39 on Friday.
Domestic equity markets also opened higher on August 3. The Nifty 50 rose 146 points, or 0.60%, to open at 24,530, while the BSE Sensex gained 725 points, or 0.93%, to start the session at 78,820.
