The rupee higher 01 paise to settle at 95.38 against the US dollar.
On Friday, the Indian rupee opened at 95.39 against the US dollar and closed at 95.38, recording a jump of 01 paise during the trading session.
At close, the Sensex was up 166.49 points or 0.21 percent at 78,094.64, and the Nifty was up 66.45 points or 0.27 percent at 24,383.60. About 2444 shares advanced, 1607 shares declined, and 185 shares unchanged.
