The rupee strengthened by 10 paise against the dollar to open at 94.39.

The rupee had closed at 94.49 on Friday, whereas today it opened at 94.39 per dollar, marking a gain of 10 paise.

The BSE Sensex fell by 105.47 points or 0.14% to 76,409.96, while the NSE Nifty is trading at 23,850.90, down by 46.80 points or 0.20%.
