Rupee Gains 34 Paisa, Closes at 85.32 Against Dollar

The Indian rupee on thursday higher 34 paise to close at 85.32 per dollar, while it opened at 85.66 in the morning.
At close, the Sensex was down 170.22 points or 0.20 percent at 83,239.47, and the Nifty was down 48.10 points or 0.19 percent at 25,405.30. About 1947 shares advanced, 1912 shares declined, and 154 shares unchanged.
