The Indian stock market saw a mixed start to the session, with the two benchmark indices moving in opposite directions during early trade. The BSE Sensex rose by 120.46 points (0.15%) to reach 78,759.49, while the Nifty 50 fell by 171.45 points (0.69%) to 24,602.85.
