Rupee falls 2 paise to 86.57 against US dollar in early trade on Thursday.

Against the US dollar, the rupee drops 2 paise to 86.57 in early Thursday trading.

The rupee depreciated 2 paise to 86.57 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday, due to sustained foreign fund outflows, unabated dollar demand from oil importers and weak risk appetite.

At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 86.57 then fell further to 86.58 against the American currency, registering a decline of 2 paise over its previous close.
