At the close of trading, the BSE Sensex fell 426.87 points or 0.53% to close at 80,351.64. It had touched a new high of 80,481.36 during the day. The NSE's 50-share index Nifty fell 108.75 points or 0.45% to close at 24,324.45. It also made a new all-time high of 24,443.60 during the day.
