The rupee appreciated 2 paise against the dollar this evening, closing at Rs 83.32.
At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 73,852.94, up 114.49 points or 0.16%. Whereas NSE's 50-share index Nifty closed at 22,413.05, up 45.05 points or 0.20%.
