Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some parts of South Bay of Bengal, entire Andaman Sea, Andaman Islands and parts of East Central Bay of Bengal during next 2 to 3 days.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South-West Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu Coast.
Another cyclonic circulation lies over Lakshadweep and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea.
A trough is extending from Northeast Madhya Pradesh to North Interior Tamil Nadu across Vidarbha and Interior Karnataka.
Another trough is lying at a low level from West Uttar Pradesh to Jharkhand.
A cyclonic circulation is persisting over the adjoining Punjab region.
During the last 24 hours, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep received moderate to heavy rains.
Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls occurred over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Sikkim, East Bihar and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain occurred over parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
Light rain occurred over East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar and one or two parts of Goa, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Heat wave conditions were observed over parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, South along with Uttar Pradesh and Northeast Madhya Pradesh.
During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains are likely to continue over Meghalaya, parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, South Karnataka and Kerala.
Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is possible over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Sikkim.
Light rain with one or two places may occur over Western Himalayas, Eastern parts of Bihar and West Bengal.
Light rain is possible over Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and parts of Vidarbha and Goa.
Heat wave conditions are possible over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
