Farmers were worried due to less rain till the end of June. However, farmers showed courage and sowed cotton based on the available water.
The late but good rains boosted the cotton crop, while other crops were affected due to limited area.
The confidence of the farmers of Manora taluka in cotton was once again evident. This year's figures show that despite the uncertainty of the weather, cotton is the mainstay of the taluka.
