The Indian rupee opened marginally lower against the US dollar on Wednesday amid a stronger greenback and a surge in crude oil prices. The local currency opened at 82.93 a dollar as compared to previous close of 82.92.
Today started with a decline in the stock market. Today BSE Sensex opened with a fall of 131.58 points at the level of 67089.55 points. Whereas NSE's Nifty opened with a fall of 39.10 points at the level of 19954.10 points.
