The rupee fell 3 paise to close at Rs 83.13 versus the US dollar this evening.
At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 75,390.50, down 19.89 points or 0.03%. NSE's 50-share index Nifty slipped 24.65 points or 0.11% and closed at 22,932.45.
