Rupee opened strongly against the dollar in the foreign exchange market today. Today the rupee opened with a gain of 17 paise at Rs 77.29 against the dollar. At the same time, on Monday, the rupee closed at Rs 77.46 with a weakness of 55 paise against the dollar.
