The rupee ended the day unchanged against the dollar, closing at 83.50.
At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 73,663.72, up 676.69 points or 0.93%. Whereas NSE's 50-share index Nifty closed at 22,403.85 with a gain of 203.30 points or 0.92%.
