A low pressure area has formed over the Arabian Sea, southeast of Gujarat. The associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to the middle troposphere level.
The Offshore Trough is extending from South Gujarat Coast to North Kerala Coast.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining area.
From the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan, the East West Trough is extending up to West Central Bay of Bengal crossing East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and South Odisha.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining region.
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places over Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Konkan and Goa Goa and South Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain accompanied by heavy rain at one or two places.
Light to moderate rain occurred over Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Uttarakhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Kerala and parts of Gujarat.
Light rain occurred at one or two places over Odisha, remaining parts of Kerala, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and scattered rain over Chhattisgarh.
Conditions are becoming favorable for further advance of Monsoon into some parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand in next 2 to 3 days.
During the next 24 hours, isolated light to moderate rain with isolated falls over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, some parts of Coastal Karnataka, some parts of Gujarat, Interior Maharashtra, South Madhya Pradesh Heavy rain may occur at places. Heavy rain is possible at two places over Telangana, South Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andaman and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Uttarakhand.
Light to moderate rain is possible over rest of Northeast India, parts of Bihar, Odisha, West Madhya Pradesh, parts of East Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Light rain is possible at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
