Cotton account for the month of march
The stormy rise in the price of cotton can be gauged from the fact that the cotton rate has increased from Rs 12,630 to Rs 16,300 in just one month from the beginning of March to the end. The lowest increase was in Punjab and Rajasthan, while the highest price increase was in Maharashtra.
