Weather systems made across the country
A cyclonic circulation can be seen over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining areas.
From the above cyclonic circulation, a low pressure line is extending up to Interior Tamil Nadu across Vidarbha, Marathwada and Interior Karnataka.
A Cyclonic Circulation lies over the Gulf of Mannar.
Another cyclonic circulation is extending up to mid-troposphere level over South Andaman Sea and adjoining areas. Under its influence, a low pressure area is very likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Kerala experienced light to moderate rain with heavy falls at a few places.
Light to moderate rain occurred over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of Tamil Nadu and South Chhattisgarh.
Light rain occurred in one or two parts of South Madhya Maharashtra, North Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Heat wave conditions persisted in many parts with severe heat wave conditions in some parts of West Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
Heat wave conditions prevailed over some parts of East Rajasthan and one or two parts of South Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh and Saurashtra in Kutch.
Weather activity likely during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is likely over Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
Light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places over Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Light rain is possible over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and South Madhya Maharashtra.
During the next 3 to 4 days, heat wave conditions are very likely at many parts of West Rajasthan, South Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh with isolated heat wave conditions.
Heatwave conditions are possible over Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha, parts of Bihar and parts of Jammu region and Chhattisgarh.
