The Western Disturbance is over eastern parts of Himachal Pradesh and adjoining Uttarakhand.
Another Western Disturbance is persisting over North Pakistan and adjoining areas.
The Cyclonic Circulation is over Bangladesh.
Weather movement across the country during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, the Western Himalayas received light to moderate rain and snow.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands received light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells of rain.
Light rain occurred over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Northwest Rajasthan and isolated parts of Assam and Sikkim.
Whether dense fog remained over South Punjab, Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
The minimum temperature has increased by 2-3 degrees over Northwest and Central India.
Cold day conditions prevailed in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana.
Weather activity likely during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, one or two heavy spells of rain with light to moderate rain at a few places are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain is possible over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and parts of Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland parts of North Punjab and North Haryana.
Light to moderate rain with isolated snowfall is possible over Western Himalayas on January 20 and 21. Moderate to heavy snowfall is possible on 22nd and 23rd January.
